Customer Stories – A courtyard solution to a little space

The Lugarde Grayson gazebo and storage provides a contemporary solution to small spaces

Our client contacted us to supply a building in her new ground floor apartment courtyard. She only had a relatively small space to provide an attractive storage space and canopied area to relax under.

The new development she was moving to in Torquay stipulated that she had to have something that was in-keeping with the look and feel of the apartment complex (modern and low key). We focused on the Lugarde Grayson cabin. It has a very useable storage space with glazed door for light and covered area to place a cafe tale and a couple of chairs. The height met planning requirements (height cannot be more than 2.5m if the building is within 2m of your neighbours boundary).

The client wanted to have a decked area that felt comfortable under foot and looked good so we specified the Siberian larch decking to complete the overall look.

This building will be painted in 2 coats of Little Greene’s Intelligent Exterior Eggshell to match the colours used in the apartment complex.

It’s a great solution to a small space and Cotswold Garden Spaces are getting a great name for supplying these throughout the country. The Lugarde Grayson can be supplied for an incredible £2225 (inc VAT & delivery) nationwide. To view this building, click HERE.

Customer Stories – A Big Gazebo For A Big Garden

Our client had a large garden that wasn’t being utilised so he contacted us to see what we could do. They loved the idea of a large space that looked clean and elegant and could be used from spring through to autumn.

Once we established the size (7m wide x 4.2m deep) we focused on the look. Due to planning rules (the building was within 2m of their neighbours boundary) we couldn’t have a building more than 2.5m high so we went for the flat roof gazebo design which is finished in a single sheet of EPDM rubber finished in aluminium trim and rubber-welded downpipes.

The client loved the balustrade look and so designed them into the front and right hand side. This gave a visual appeal from the home and also a feeling of enclosure whilst inside the gazebo. The left hand side was exposed to the prevailing winds so we modified the side walls to be the same hight as the balustrades and then finished in custom roll-up windows to protect against a cold wind or rain.

We installed the beautiful Siberian larch flooring inside and the client has fitted their extensive garden furniture and even a table tennis set up too. Ultimately there will be internal wall lights fitted and power outlets to make the space even more useful.

We are very proud of this building and the small custom store we supplied behind the gazebo. The cost of supply to the doorstep was £7,600 inc VAT and delivery. Installation and painting was extra. To see our full range of gazebos, CLICK HERE.

Garden Space Of The Week – Lugarde’s Gage gazebo is a handsome space to relax

Adding a strong architectural feature to your garden is a wonderful and cost effective way to add eye candy and introduction of colour to complement soft landscaping.

Many British gardens lack an architectural element that draws the eye. Lugarde’s Gage gazebo not only provides visual impact of the skyline through its pyramid roof, finished in attractive, coloured shingles, it also incorporates a rear wall that provides privacy and a wind break whilst allowing you to dress the space with interior design cues. Creating a covered area extends the use of a garden, offering shade from the sun and cover from rain whist entertaining, relaxing and eating. The Gage is a useful size too, with dimensions of 10′ x 12′ (3m x 3.6m) allowing for the largest tables and chair sets.

And as our example shows, painted in colour such as the very current dark grey (Little Green Paint Company’s Scree), it makes a visual feast that belies its rather modest price of £2499 inc VAT & delivery.

The Lugarde Gage gazebo has a clean and classic look as an alfresco dining space for BBQ cooking, a table and chairs or a hot tub.
